Street Theatre project - Mablethorpe

We’re thrilled to be bringing a brand new show to the Lincolnshire coast this summer.
Join Sully the Seagull on a fun-filled quest to find the chippiest chip.
On his flight he helps some unlikely friends, a worm, a rat and seal, all whose homes have been disrupted by litter and pollution. He starts to discover that perhaps his mission to find the chippiest chip could become something more.

Our first stop: Vintage on Sea in Sutton on Sea, 28 June, followed by Mablethorpe Illuminations 26 July and

Mablethorpe Carnival 20 September.

The show has been created by NEET young people from Community Learning in Partnership, Mablethorpe. They have been actively involved in every stage of its development — from creating the story and characters to auditioning actors, making the set and puppets, and designing the poster.

Working with Hannah Peacock, the young people have gained valuable creative skills while also developing soft skills such as confidence, communication, teamwork, and an understanding of the creative industries.

Young people are excited to be working with two great actors, Loretta Hope and Aiysha Nugent - Robinson to bring their ideas to life.

This project has been funded by East Lindsey District Council through the Lincolnshire Community
